This practice was not built because we saw an opportunity. It was built because people we loved needed care that did not exist — and we refused to accept that.

Where this comes from

Rooted in real loss

You already know the gap. The referral that went nowhere. The care that existed on paper but not in practice. The person you love who needed real support and could not find a way in.

That gap is not acceptable. We know because we have lived on the other side of it.

The father with cancer who cannot access treatment because of active substance use.

The woman who survived decades of trauma with no one to help her carry it.

The child labeled a problem — when what they needed was a safe place to heal.

Every gap we are building toward was first a loss we lived through.

Perkins PsyCare is built on two things that belong together: raw lived experience and clinical excellence. The knowing that comes from loss — and the discipline earned through years of rigorous science and training.

We lead with science. We practice with compassion. We build care that opens doors — because high-excellence mental health care should be within reach, not beyond it.

Oncology + Substance Use

For patients caught between two crises at once — we are building a path to cancer treatment for those who have been turned away.

Veteran Psycare

Specialized mental health care for those who served — here and abroad. Including a dedicated hub in Florida for veterans who travel seeking care they cannot find closer to home.

Primary Mental Health from Birth

Early intervention, lasting healing. The wounds that go untreated in childhood do not disappear — they go underground. We are meeting them at the start.

Training the Next Generation

Building pipelines for undergraduate degree holders entering the mental health field — because closing the care gap means growing the people who deliver it.

National to global

Our roots are international — and so is our vision. What begins in Round Rock is the foundation of something that reaches far beyond any single border.
